What the XWiki cave's walls say...

Earlier today during lunch, a debate sprung up among XWikiers as to whether I deserved a special status as the team's photo-blogger. In order to prove my "talent" and based on a suggestion made by JV (@jvdrean) I asserted that I could have our office's basement wall tell us a story.

At that point Jérôme (@jvelo) was pretty convinced I was full of s**t - and honestly I wasn't sure what to say. Happily enough for me, Fabio (@fmancinelli) came to my help - turns out he noticed a couple interesting features of the wall!

He identified a stone patter that in his view is an accurate depiction of Richard Stallman. While ThomasE (@eveilleau) agreed that the stones looked more like a girl than that Richard Stallman, Jérôme had no choice but to acknowledge the blatant truth: once again, I was right! Turns out I'm lucky enough to find other people to back me up almost each time I lack evidence to assert my ideas ;-)

Last but not least, ThomasM (@tmortagne) and JV both identified other patterns: an eye sitting under a pyramid for ThomasM and... a pair of buttocks for JV (how surprising of him! ;-).

Here are the pics so that you can make up your own minds:

cave reporting at its best ! ;)
Another artful brick in the wall http://twitpic.com/pck35
Nice catch @silviarusu!
yeah, you should take pics of the whole cave, assemble them in a high resolution pic and have people around the web find shapes
@lucaa I'll think about it though the whole process might get a bit lengthy...
@glerouge Oh... it's not me... it's The Wall! http://twitpic.com/pclzu
Guillaume, you are a good storyteller, but you make a terrible journalist.
At many levels this report is your very own re-interpretation of happened in the cave

"photo-blogger" is too much, I think "troubadour" would be more appropriate ;)

@jvelo well, you've got a blog don't you? Write your version of the story and then we'll start our very own post war ;-)
